There is a sacred order to all things 

 

We humans grow like trees.

Ring by ring, expanding ever outwards in our experience, our flesh holds the story of each season that has passed.

Each blessing, each trespass, each transgression, each gift, is held in the pattern of our rings.

Each abundant Spring and sorrowful Winter is marked by the pattern of our inner cycles,

as we ebb further outward into the universe

A core becoming a chorus.

Just like a tree, if we were splayed open laterally our patterns would reveal the timing of our lives,

what happened when, how it was received,

how we grew with and beyond it.

We could count our years like we count tree rings,

each season cradling an accumulated knowing as the tissue of our being builds up into maturity.

Our cyclical nature orbits us into growth, layer by layer, and the beauty of our scars and symmetries hold the history of our tale.

Just like a tree our story is told by our poise.

We speak through our leaves, our fruit, our seeds.

The nature of each tells us the nature of our inner selves.

Our leaves hold our power. Our tissue, muscle, ligament, hair, nails… they hold our story of power.

Our roots hold our connectivity. Our bones, our radix, our radius tell of our ground, our ancestors, the rock of the place we source from.

Our bark holds our medicine. Our skin, our membranes, our containing linings… this is how we protect ourselves.

Our flowers, our fruit, hold our sweetness, our love. Our energy, magnetism, offering, gifts are held here. This is the pathway to pollination.

Our sap, our resin, holds our spirit. Our essence spins our being into the space beyond us, touching the edges of the world and entering again through rooted rain. Our vapour, the subtle emulation of spirit moves right through the cosmos, and feeds back into us like a cycle of intelligence and lucid life.

The Five Pillars of Medicine is a living body of knowledge that outlines the perennial pattern on which all things are designed and grow. It is both a map of the territory of life, and a navigation tool to travel it well.

​

These teachings are the fruit of a transmission received over the course of a decade, following an initiation in a traditional medicine lineage in Southern Africa. Revealing the principles behind reality, it opens up the patterns of the meta-reality. We see the design that life is crafted on and recognise that all things follow this same sacred order - from cell to cosmos, plant to human, lifespan to civilisation... All things reflect this living matrix.

In recognising the blueprint that nature follows we gain incredible insight into our own nature. We can track the pattern in our lives and live with more agility. We learn the cycles that hold the hidden rhythm to our evolution. Once we see it we can operate more intentionally. We can nimbly cultivate our evolution with grace and skill, playing on the rhythm that guides our steps. We begin to expand beyond what we thought possible.

 

We learn the secrets of our own inner workings. This work is a map of our deepest territory. This knowledge allows us to traverse the grounds of life in an inspirational, insightful and continually enriching way. We don't need to re-invent the wheel to expand our potential. We simply need to use the momentum of the natural cycles already in motion to let them carry us to an enhanced way of living.
